Sentillion was one of the 10 companies whose enterprise single sign-on (ESSO) solutions were evaluated by Gartner, and of the providers in the marketplace is the only vertical specific vendor.
"We believe Sentillion`s positive rating in the Gartner MarketScope validates the impact that enterprise single sign-on technology has in healthcare to address security, compliance as well as caregiver workflow and satisfaction," said Paul Roscoe, president of Sentillion. "At a time when healthcare organizations are under increased pressure to expedite the adoption of Electronic Health Records, deployment and effective utilization of identity and access management technologies, such as ESSO, has never been more important."
Gartner MarketScopes provide an overall market rating that indicates the strength and potential for the market and provides ratings for selected vendors based on market-critical criteria. Criteria for the ratings include: offering strategy, product/service, overall viability, customer experience and sales execution/pricing.
Sentillion`s identity and access management solutions are the most widely deployed in healthcare and are used daily by more than 400,000 caregivers in 1,000 hospitals across North America and the United Kingdom, including Duke University Medical Center, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Sisters of Mercy Health System, Sharp HealthCare, Tenet Healthcare Corporation and Texas Children`s Hospital. Sentillion is responsible for the largest ESSO deployment in healthcare, which presently provides access to 205 clinical and business applications for 61,000 users across 60 hospitals |
