  • The Role

    We are looking for an ambitious, hard-working Outreach Executive who specialises in the US market to join our ambitious team. You will sit within the outreach team and be responsible for building relationships with journalists and outreaching various creative campaigns to land top-tier links for our clients, predominantly in US publications. You’ll also act as a mentor for junior members of the team to ensure the outreach across the team is industry-leading. 

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver the outreach of our creative campaigns to consistently gain top-tier coverage in national and niche online publications based in the US, in line with personal and client KPIs
    • Contribute to ideation sessions to ensure our stories will be newsworthy in the US, allowing you to execute outreach strategies that will result in coverage for our clients
    • Create unique and personalised email templates that match Kaizen’s outreach standards and produce results
    • Effectively A/B test email templates for each creative campaign to understand what is and isn’t driving success, adapting your outreach approach accordingly 
    • Correctly report on the results of your direct outreach efforts from a campaign and personal KPI perspective
    • Constantly striving to improve your outreach angles to ensure timely delivery of client KPIs
    • Consistently looking for and executing reactive / newsjacking opportunities for our clients
    • Strong understanding of effective link-building and outreach techniques in the US market 
    • Mentor junior members of the team to ensure standardisation & understanding of outreach best practices throughout the team
    • Lead on training the team on effective outreach techniques in the US market 
    • Adhere to and promote the values of the company 
  • About You

    • Proven experience in gaining PR coverage in the US 
    • Strong understanding of effective link-building and outreach techniques in the US and the UK 
    • 2 years experience within a Digital PR agency, working directly on link-building in the US
    • You’re a hardworking team player who is looking to learn and develop their skills
    • You’re a pretty ambitious person and never want to stop growing and learning
    • A logical thinker who regularly solves problems by employing creative solutions
    • Enjoys multi-tasking and has very strong personal organisation skills.
